- Purpose of the trip: The visit was closely aligned with the semester’s curriculum, offering students a practical perspective on cleaner production practices
- Student learning outcomes: The primary objectives of this course are to acquire basic understanding and technical knowledge on greener and cleaner production options so that students can proactively decide and select better options relevant to good housekeeping, process optimization, product modification and better process control. The visit offered the students a practical exposure to these technologies. The coordinators at NCPC delivered an informative presentation highlighting their initiatives for environmental stewardship and the available facilities at the center. Following the presentation, students toured the entire facility, gaining first-hand insights into the operations and interacting with the coordinators.
