A project titled as “Building Capacity to Improve Air Quality in South Asia: Reducing PM2.5 Through Low-Cost Sensor Network Driven Policy Decisions” funded by Department of States (DOS) lead by Dr Mike Bergin from Duke University USA has been successfully executed since 2021. Main objective of the project is to explore the potential of low-cost senor to monitor PM2.5 pollution across the South Asia. Prof. Dr Michael Bergin is visiting Pakistan on the request of US Embassy Islamabad; however, we have engaged him to pay visit to NUST while being in Pakistan and get maximum benefits from his visit to students and project team. A Seminar/debate titled as “ Air Pollution Challenges in Pakistan and Way Forward” is set to schedule on 14th Dec.2023 from 1500 to 1600 hrs at IESE Seminar Hall
