| The Institute of Environmental Science and Engineering (IESE) hosted a highly engaging seminar titled “Renewable Energy Frontiers: Expert Insights on Biomass and Solar Innovations” on Dec. 17, 2024, at 10:00 AM in the Seminar Hall. Esteemed speakers Dr. Chen Zhang, Professor of Chemistry, and Dr. Gary A. Anderson, Professor of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, both from the USA, delivered insightful talks. Dr. Zhang focused on “LBiomass to Energy” innovations, while Dr. Anderson presented on advancements in “Solar Energy.” The seminar was attended by over 90 undergraduate and postgraduate students, alongside the Associate Dean, Head of the Environmental Science Department, and Professor Imran Hashmi. The interactive Q&A session was a highlight, with students actively engaging with the keynote speakers.
