 Industrial trip of BE Environmental Engineering students to Murree Brewery


Dr. Nida Maqbool organized an industrial trip for the 6th semester BS Environmental Engineering batch to Murree Brewery Pvt. Ltd. On 30th April, 2026 as part of the elective course ENE-411 Separation Processes in Environmental Engineering. The visit was executed by Engr. Naveed Iqbal (Environmental Quality Manager), Kashif Hussain (Production Manager) and Muhammad Khurram (Asst. Quality Manager). The visit provided students with practical exposure to industrial-scale separation techniques, including filtration, distillation, and fermentation processes used in beverage production. Students observed how raw materials are processed and purified, and how quality control is maintained through different separation stages. The trip also highlighted waste management practices and environmental compliance within the industry, helping students connect theoretical concepts with real-world applications.
