Alumni Spotlight: Advancing Sustainability with Eco Muhafiz

Aniqa Gulraiz, Co-Founder and Chief Sustainability Officer at Eco Muhafiz, is alumni of SCEE (IESE), from BE Environmental Engineering Batch 2020. Her start-up, Eco Muhafiz is an AI-powered climate intelligence platform that combines acoustic AI, IoT, satellite imagery, GIS, and carbon analytics to protect forests and deliver real-time environmental insights.

From the very beginning, she has been instrumental in shaping both the vision behind Eco Muhafiz and the environmental science that drives its solutions. She played a key role in developing the product concept, ensuring that it addresses real environmental challenges while maintaining scientific credibility and measurable impact. She works closely with the technical team to embed sustainability into every stage of product development, from carbon accounting methodologies and environmental impact assessments to aligning the platform with global climate and ESG frameworks.

She believes the mentorship and innovation-driven environment at SCEE (IESE) inspired her to pursue sustainability-focused entrepreneurship and provided the confidence to transform ideas into impactful solutions. Today, she leads Eco Muhafiz’s sustainability strategy, ensuring that every solution the company develops delivers measurable environmental value while contributing to a more resilient and sustainable future.
