Visit of Distinguished Professor Anthony S. Wexler to SCEE (IESE)

Professor Anthony S. Wexler, a Distinguished Professor at the University of California, Davis, will be visiting the SCEE (IESE), on 8 December 2025 from 1500 to 1530 hours. Prof. Wexler, who holds joint appointments in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, Civil & Environmental Engineering, and Land, Air & Water Resources, and serves as Director of the UC Davis Air Quality Research Center, is internationally recognized for his pioneering work on atmospheric aerosols and air-quality science. His research explores the formation, transformation, and movement of airborne particles, as well as their impact on human health. During his visit, he will meet with the Principal and Dean SCEE and senior faculty and will deliver an interactive lecture and Q&A session for SCEE (IESE) students. The session will be organized by Dr. Muhammad Fahim Khokhar. This visit is expected to enhance academic collaboration and encourage meaningful discussions on advanced atmospheric science and environmental research.
